Jeff Bernstein, Cable Positive founder and Chelsea Marketeers President, has provided Cable Positive with a new way to bring the fight against HIV/AIDS to the mainstream online marketplace.
Cable Positive is now a registered non-profit organization on the online auction site eBay and with MissionFish, eBay’s non-profit coordinating company. Through MissionFish Cable Positive will be able to list items for sale on eBay and benefit from sales made through Chelsea Marketeers. Individual sellers on eBay who wish to donate a portion of the proceeds coming from the sale of their merchandise may do so—greatly expanding the reach of the organization into the consumer marketplace.
Thanks to Chelsea Marketeers for absorbing all of the administrative costs and making it possible for all profits raised from the sale of any merchandise, tickets and experiences to be used in 100% support of Cable Positive’s AIDS awareness efforts nationwide.
For donation inquiries please contact Max Johnson @ 212.459.1605 or max@cablepositive.org |

Cable Positive is now a registered nonprofit organization on eBay. This is achieved
through a mandatory clearinghouse, MissionFish. MissionFish is a licensed nonprofit
service of the Points of Light Foundation, which facilitates the eBay Giving Works
program. MissionFish’s valuable service and support includes: powering the nonprofit
directory for eBay’s Giving Works; verifying that nonprofits are eligible for this
program; collecting and disbursing sellers’ donations; providing sellers with tax receipts
and tracking donations online. |

Donated merchandise should be shipped directly to Jeffrey Bernstein at Chelsea
Marketeers. We will need to be aware of what merchandise is being offered and the
minimum asking price before it is sent. In coordination with the offices at Cable
Positive, a donation receipt will be sent to the organization or individual who is providing
the products.

| Chelsea Marketeers is an online selling website (www.chelseamarketeers.com) with an eBay store (http://stores.ebay.com/Chelsea-Marketeers) that provides selling services through eBay. Chelsea Marketeers has afforded Cable Positive the opportunity to enter into this arena for the purpose of contributing to HIV/AIDS awareness efforts. They will be donating all administrative costs involved with the sale. |

Although we would prefer to limit items with an expected value of at least $100, anything
and everything can be sold. Obviously, the best scenario would be high-end / unique
items that the general public rarely has access to, and those that would generate the most
revenue for Cable Positive. (i.e., memorabilia, event tickets, experiences).

The auctions are scheduled as regular eBay listings and noted appropriately as Charity
Auctions. The benefit of having these auctions listed within the regular offerings is to
attract bidders and buyers that aren’t necessarily Cable Positive supporters, but rather
only interested in the particular item being sold.
