Gwen is personally responsible for raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for AIDS Walk NY, an annual fundraiser to benefit Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC), the largest AIDS service organization in New York City. For the past five years, Gwen has been the top individual fundraiser for the event.

This year, out of a total of 42,000 walkers, Gwen single-handedly raised in excess of $55,000 enabling the Viacom team to finish in first place for the fifth consecutive year with more than $105,000 to the fight against AIDS.

In addition to GMHC, Gwen is a volunteer and supporter of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and amfAR.

Gwen has chosen Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS as the recipient of a $1,250 grant made by Cable Positive in honor of her outstanding contributions.
