Atlanta

They say there’s nothing like good old southern hospitality, the members of Cable Positive’s Atlanta Chapter definitely took who ever “they” are seriously. Cable industry activists have gone out and walked in AIDS walks and helped with the upkeep of Jerusalem House, part of AID Atlanta, by grooming playgrounds, landscaping, and all the other chores that go along with keeping a house looking like a home. Over the past year, those same activists raised over $76,000 to help support the work of AID Atlanta, the southeast’s largest AIDS service organization – that’s a whole lot of support! If you’re an art aficionado in the Atlanta region, you probably should attend next year’s Positively Art where they auction off pieces of art from local and established artists to raise funds for the fight against AIDS. |
