“Safer Sex
in the City” Event Set to Raise
Funds for Cable Positive and AID Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA / NEW YORK, NY - August
8, 2003
HBO’s award-winning series “SEX
AND THE CITY” will get
even hotter as it heads down south on
September 10, 2003 as part of
“Safer Sex in the City,”
the latest fundraising event of the
Atlanta Chapter of the cable and telecommunications
industry’s national non-profit
AIDS action organization, Cable Positive.
This invitation-only event will draw
Atlanta-area cable and telecommunications
industry professionals to the ESPN Zone,
located at 3030 Peachtree Road, NW,
for a 6:30 p.m. cocktail party followed
by a special screening of an episode
of HBO’s mega hit series
“SEX AND THE CITY,”
which is now in its sixth and final
season.
“Safer Sex in the City”
is the second fundraiser for the Atlanta
Chapter. Proceeds raised from the event
will benefit Cable Positive and AID
Atlanta, the Southeast United States’
largest AIDS service organization, which
provides educational programs to stop
the spread of HIV/AIDS and comprehensive
support and services for people living
with HIV/AIDS.
Tickets are first-come first-served.
