CABLE POSITIVE NAMES JESSE GIULIANI AS PROGRAM COORDINATOR; TOMIE SCOTT AS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

NEW YORK, NY - October 10, 2001
Cable Positive, the national non-profit organization that galvanizes the cable industry's resources, access and influence in the fight against HIV/AIDS, recently named Jesse Giuliani as Program Coordinator and Tomie Scott as Administrative Assistant.

Giuliani, a graduate of University of Connecticut, has spent the last year as Business Development Manager, coordinating event sponsorships and marketing programs for Coca Cola Enterprises. Giuliani is responsible for coordinating Cable Positive's efforts for both National HIV Testing Day (June 27) and World AIDS Day (December 1) as well as administering the Tony Cox Fund for Local HIV/AIDS Programming. He is not related to New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Scott, a graduate of the University of Virginia, has administrative experience working at various advertising and insurance companies, and cable experience gained from her internship at BET last year. Scott is responsible for the administration of the Cable Positive office in addition to assisting in accounting, database management, support for the Tony Cox Fund, and other programs and events including the annual benefit dinner.

"As we expand our programs to include more local community outreach, Jesse's experience at Coca Cola and Tomie's administrative strengths will both be an asset to Cable Positive," said Cable Positive Executive Director Steve Villano. "We're happy and proud to have both Jesse and Tomie at Cable Positive and we welcome them to the team."
