Time Warner Cable President Barry Rosenblum Named Honorary Chairman
NEW YORK, NY - October 16, 2003
The New York Chapter of Cable Positive, the cable and telecommunications industry’s national non-profit AIDS action organization, and Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey announced today that the cable operator is the chapter’s first Platinum Sponsor. Time Warner Cable is the primary benefactor for the NY Chapter’s fundraising efforts, which continue on October 21 at 6 p.m. with a musical and comedy show at The Cutting Room in NYC.
Leading Time Warner Cable’s significant role in aiding the New York Chapter’s growth will be Time Warner Cable President Barry Rosenblum, who will serve as the Honorary Chapter Chairman.

The chapter, which consists of volunteer members from the cable and telecommunications industry and associated businesses, is now in its second year. The New York Chapter has forged an alliance with the AIDS Service Center, a multi-service community organization in New York City that helps individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. A portion of the chapter’s fund raising proceeds goes directly to AIDS Service Center.
