the Reach of the Program
NEW YORK, NY - March 8, 2002
Cable Positive, the cable and telecommunications industry's national
non-profit AIDS action organization, has added three new members
to the steering committee for the Tony Cox Fund for Local HIV/AIDS
Programming. The program encourages local cable systems and AIDS
service organizations (ASOs) to collaborate in the production
and distribution of original programming, including public service
announcements (PSAs), addressing HIV/AIDS-related issues. New
steering committee additions are Susan Carden, Vice President,
Network Programming, Comcast Cable Communications; John Monaghan,
Southern California Programming Manager, Adelphia Communications;
and Judy Poole, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Insight
Communications.
"We are confident that, with these individuals lending their
expertise and the continued guidance of the current committee

will continue to grow and have an even greater impact on HIV/AIDS
prevention and education in local communities across the United
States," said Steve Villano, Cable Positive's Executive Director.
