Mark your calendars now for one of cable's most
hilarious evenings: the Denver Chapter of Cable Positive will present
Positively Cable 2005: "CSI Broadband" Nov. 10 at The
Cable Center in
Denver. This will be the eleventh edition of the organization's
annual
musical satire of cable industry shenanigans, which has raised
more than
$600,000 to date.
This year's show will solve a couple of hot cases using the dancing
and
singing talents of many high-profile cable industry detectives, plus
the
gifted forensic performers of Rave Reviews. They'll analyze some of
the
cable industry's most incriminating evidence, including:
- high-definition fiber optic residue in Colorado
- competitive ballistics reports in California
- Verizon fingerprints all over the place

with
this year's edition of Positively Cable," said Stull. "After
raising more
than $144,000 last year, we realize we've set a lofty goal, but with
the
continued support of the industry, we're confident we can exceed last
year's
total donation."
Funds raised support the national efforts of Cable Positive as well
as
Denver HIV/AIDS support organizations Rainbow House and Mi Casa. The
Volunteers of America Rainbow House provides services designed to meet
the
unique needs of families living with HIV/AIDS, specifically those with
young
children. Mi Casa strives to educate Denver-area youth to avoid negative
risk behaviors and to improve their outlook for the future.
