PHILADELPHIA, PA / NEW YORK, NY - August 14, 2003
Cable Positive’s Philadelphia Chapter will host their inaugural fundraiser, "Positive Spin" on September 8, 2003 at the Penn Oaks Golf Club and Penn Oaks Racquet and Fitness Club located at 150 Penn Oaks Dr. and 52 Penn Oaks Dr. in West Chester, PA in an effort to generate local AIDS awareness and raise funds for Cable Positive, the cable and telecommunications industry’s national non-profit AIDS action organization and ActionAIDS, Pennsylvania's largest AIDS service organization.
Philadelphia-area cable and telecommunications professionals will start the golf and tennis tournament with a tee off at 1pm and first serve at 2pm. In addition to the golf and tennis tournaments, the event will feature raffle prizes, a buffet dinner, and a 1-hour open bar.
There are a number of ticket packages for those interested in attending to choose from, starting at $620 for the Golf Foursome, $160 for individual golfers, $75 for individual tennis players, $45 for an individual dinner and golf clinic, and $35 for an individual dinner. Dinner is included as part of all golf and tennis packages and all ticket prices are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
