NEW YORK, NY - September 16, 2004
Cable Positive, the cable and telecommunications industry’s AIDS action organization, has galvanized the Southern California cable community partners Adelphia, Cox, Charter and Time Warner to support the 12th Annual World Team Tennis All-Star Smash Hits charity fundraiser by providing more than $200,000 in advertising and promotion support for the event, which is projected to raise some $1 million to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the National AIDS Fund. Co-hosted by Billie Jean King and Sir Elton John, the 12th annual World TeamTennis All-Star Smash Hits presented by ADT, will be held at the Bren Events Center on the campus of the University of California, Irvine.
