TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR "POSITIVELY CABLE 2002: CABLE GETS THE ROYAL FLUSH" PRESENTED BY AT&T BROADBAND

Two October 17 performances at The Cable Center
to benefit Cable Positive and Denver's Rainbow House

DENVER, CO - September 18, 2002
Media mergers, Frank Sinatra, stock market shenanigans, and a Las Vegas heist à la "Oceans 11" are among the ingredients of "Positively Cable 2002: Cable Gets the Royal Flush," the 8th annual musical parody fund raiser produced by the Denver chapter of Cable Positive. In acknowledgement of three consecutive years of sell-outs, two shows will be presented this year, at 6:30 and 8:45 pm, Thursday, October 17 at The Cable Center on the University of Denver campus.

Tickets for the event are now on sale. Reserved seating VIP tickets are $100; general admission $50. Discounts are available for blocks of ten tickets. Prices include a pre-show cocktail reception, show tickets, and an invitation to the after-show "cast party." To purchase tickets, contact Debbie Barackman of iNDEMAND at 303-712-3365 or Zelda Martens of Sullivan Direct Marketing at 303-632-7734.

The talented performers of Rave Reviews will once again headline for Positively Cable, backed up by the Cable All-Stars, a chorus line of high-stepping cable industry executives. Writers Paul Braun and Erica Stull are back with a hilarious script promising "more laughs than an Adelphia shareholders' meeting." The show will lampoon the cable, satellite, Internet and telecommunications industries with plot and songs inspired by Sinatra, Dean Martin, and 60s-era Las Vegas.

The 2002 Cable All-Stars are:

Paul Braun, Time Warner Cable Nat'l Division
Jim Honiotes, International Channel Networks
Alex D'Addio, D'Addio Productions
Ziba Kaboli, Court TV
Jim Dickson, Inspirational Network
Sam Klosterman, Wisdom Television
Ronda Dorchester, Sadler-Dorchester Marketing & Advtg.
Kim Smith, EagleDirect Broadband Marketing
Scott Durand, Great American Country
Neal Sullivan, Sullivan Direct
Bridget Farley, Universal Television Group
Rod Veatch, iN DEMAND
Pete Gatseos, The Cable Center
Sharan Wilson, Career Labs
Andrew Givens, STARZ ENCORE

Mary White, AT&T Broadband's Denver Market Senior Vice President, is honorary chair of this year's event, and will make a special guest appearance during the performance.

The light-hearted evening benefits Cable Positive, the cable industry's AIDS awareness and prevention organization, and Rainbow House, which provides day care for children in Denver whose lives are affected by the AIDS virus. Funds raised by the show will benefit Cable Positive's national education efforts, and Rainbow House's construction of a new infant facility for children who are HIV positive.

Cable Positive is a national non-profit organization that was founded in February 1992 by three concerned cable executives with the mission of organizing cable's resources in the fight against AIDS. Cable Positive is dedicated to unifying the talents, resources, access and influence of the communications industry to raise AIDS awareness; to fund AIDS education, research and care; and to promote a more compassionate climate for people whose lives have been affected by HIV and AIDS. Cable Positive has grown to include supporters from every major cable network, MSO, system, hardware manufacturer, trade association, media publication, and affiliated industry vendors and suppliers. Since 1992, Cable Positive has raised more than $9 million in the fight against AIDS. For more information about Cable Positive call 212.459.1502.
