CABLE POSITIVE ANNOUNCES
DIVERSITY WEEK AIDS IN THE WORKPLACE FREE TEACH-IN PANEL

NEW YORK, NY - September 20, 2002
Cable Positive, the cable industry's AIDS awareness and prevention organization, will conduct the a Diversity Week AIDS in the Workplace Free Teach-In for cable industry professionals on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 from 11 am - 2 pm. The session will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about how to incorporate AIDS education initiative in their companies.

Speakers and panel participants for the program include: Brad Peebles, Publisher, POZ Magazine; Mae Douglas, VP and Chief People Officer, Cox Communications; Michele James, Chief Talent Scout, AOL Time Warner Yolan LaPorte, Program Director, CDC Business Responds to AIDS Industry panel moderated by POZ Magazine Publisher Brad Peebles, including: Annemarie Bray, VP Training and Generalist, Affiliate Sales, Showtime Networks, Inc. Brad Peebles, Publisher, POZ Magazine; Julia Ritchie, President, Ritchie Consulting; John Rose, VP Human Resources, ABC Inc.; Steve Villano, President & CEO, Cable Positive; Debra Wolf, Assistant Director, Legal Services, GMHC

Cable Positive's Diversity Week AIDS in the Workplace Free Teach-In is co-chaired by Mae Douglas, Vice President and Chief People Officer, Cox Communications, and Michele James, Chief Talent Scout, AOL Time Warner. The event sponsored by ABC Cable Networks Group and AOL Time Warner will take place at AOL Time Warner offices, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, 8th floor conference room.

Cable Positive is a national non-profit organization that was founded in February 1992 by three concerned cable executives with the mission of organizing cable's resources in the fight against AIDS. Cable Positive is dedicated to unifying the talents, resources, access and influence of the communications industry to raise AIDS awareness; to fund AIDS education, research and care; and to promote a more compassionate climate for people whose lives have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
